The work Belgian Paysage Bruxellois by William Degouve de Nuncques was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The price achieved of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 88,182.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by William Degouve de Nuncques have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Belgian Reve De Voyage was auctioned for GBP 109,250.00 (€ 132,091.46).
