Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A View Of Windsor Castle From The Southwest, With Cooper Hill To The Left And The Plain Of Runnymede In The Middle by William Daniell was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,728.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Daniell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shivala Ghaut and Cheyt Singh's House near Benares in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 567,043.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A View Of Windsor Castle From The Southwest, With Cooper Hill To The Left And The Plain Of Runnymede In The Middle von William Daniell wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
