This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by William Brui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition No.1. Blue in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,368.88).
