This work without title by William Brui was sold in the Russian Contemporary Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,917.95), 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Brui; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition No.1. Blue sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,368.88).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William Brui wurde im März 2008 in der Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.917,95) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von William Brui; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition No.1. Blue im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.368,88).
