This artwork by William Bell Scott achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2018. In the Victorian Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Thou has left me ever, Jamie sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,825.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00.
