Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Zuni Past by William Acheff. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,315.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Acheff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Taos and Beyond, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,553.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zuni Past von William Acheff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 27.315,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von William Acheff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Taos and Beyond beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.553,71) versteigert wurde.
