Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Woman by Willi Soukop was sold in the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in November 2000. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,824.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Willi Soukop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,673.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing Woman von Willi Soukop wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.116,25 (€ 1.824,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willi Soukop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.673,98).
