Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Wissing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Francis Thynne, Lady Worsley, full-length, in a red dress and a blue ermine-lined mantle, a domed mansion in a garden beyond in September 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,066.47).
