Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unloading the hay-wagon by Willem Carel Nakken was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 9,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Carel Nakken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Late summer: loading the hay-cart, which sold at auction in April 2005 for EUR 20,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unloading the hay-wagon von Willem Carel Nakken kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Carel Nakken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Late summer: loading the hay-cart beobachtet, die im April 2005 für EUR 20.400,00 versteigert wurde.
