Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations, which included the work Unloading the cart by Willem George Frederik Jansen. The price achieved of EUR 937.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem George Frederik Jansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unloading the cart von Willem George Frederik Jansen zur Versteigerung kam.
