Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Loading the cart by Willem George Frederik Jansen for GBP 637.50 (€ 755.27). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Bonhams in Edinburgh and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem George Frederik Jansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Loading the cart von Willem George Frederik Jansen für GBP 637,50 (€ 755,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem George Frederik Jansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Shell Fisher In The Breakers im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.600,00.
