In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Still Life Of Oysters, A Nautilus Cup, A Roemer, Lemon And Other Objects sold for GBP 98,500.00 (€ 124,239.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Claesz. Heda achieve.
