Sold at the estimate price
In June 2014 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Klassische Moderne, which included the work Pferdeknechte auf Bauerngehöft by Wilhelm Kohlhoff. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm Kohlhoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Dame, in rotem Sessel sitzend“., which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 8,750.00.
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2014 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Klassische Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pferdeknechte auf Bauerngehöft von Wilhelm Kohlhoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Kohlhoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Dame, in rotem Sessel sitzend“. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
