In March 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work 'Pegasus' by Wheeler Williams. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,196.59), 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by Wheeler Williams have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31) in September 2008 for the work Winter and Summer: Two Sculptures.

Im März 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Pegasus' von Wheeler Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.196,59) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Wheeler Williams haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31) im September 2008 für die Arbeit Winter and Summer: Two Sculptures beobachtet.
