Auction result well in line with expectations
The work To Tell The Truth by Wes Lang was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 945.00 (€ 1,111.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wes Lang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Unity Within in September last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 257,589.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit To Tell The Truth von Wes Lang wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 945,00 (€ 1.111,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wes Lang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Unity Within im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 257.589,70).
