Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wes Lang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work Keep on Keepin' on sold for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,266.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wes Lang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Unity Within in September last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 257,589.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wes Lang erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Keep on Keepin' on für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.266,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wes Lang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Unity Within im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 257.589,70).
