The work Visiting A Friend by Wen Qiqiu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,607.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Wen Qiqiu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Flowers in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,234.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Visiting A Friend von Wen Qiqiu kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.607,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wen Qiqiu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Various Flowers im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.234,22).
