A top price for Wen Qiqiu
The work Various Flowers by Wen Qiqiu was worth HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,234.22) to a buyer in October 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Various Flowers the most expensive artwork by Wen Qiqiu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Various Flowers von Wen Qiqiu war einem Käufer im Oktober 2013 HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.234,22) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Various Flowers zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Wen Qiqiu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
