Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Autumn Landscape by Wen Peng was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,147.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wen Peng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ode to the Pavilion of the Inebriated Old Man in cursive script in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,015,000.00 (€ 557,849.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Wen Peng wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.147,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wen Peng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ode to the Pavilion of the Inebriated Old Man in cursive script im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.015.000,00 (€ 557.849,29).
