Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Scenery by Wen Ding was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,871.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wen Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Journey To The Red Cliff in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 550,000.00 (€ 61,930.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Scenery von Wen Ding wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.871,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wen Ding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Journey To The Red Cliff im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 550.000,00 (€ 61.930,82).
