Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstract by Wei Ligang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 32,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,732.97). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wei Ligang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shield Array in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 70,415.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abstract von Wei Ligang kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 32.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.732,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wei Ligang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shield Array im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 70.415,61).
