The work Nowhere To Run 3(Painted In 2007) by Wei Jia was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. The auction ended at the price of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 72,558.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wei Jia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nowhere to Escape IV in April this year with an auction result of HKD 720,000.00 (€ 735,260.87).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Nowhere To Run 3(Painted In 2007) von Wei Jia kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 72.558,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wei Jia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nowhere to Escape IV im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 720.000,00 (€ 735.260,87).
