The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Wee Shoo Leong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Roses/ Cage With Cups And Flowers was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,710.20).
