Auction result well in line with expectations
The work My Way by Wee Shoo Leong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,594.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Wee Shoo Leong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Roses/ Cage With Cups And Flowers was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,710.20).
