The work (Born in 1976) by Waseem Ahmed was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,059.64), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Waseem Ahmed - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Man Lounging); Untitled (Woman Pointing), which sold at auction in March 2017 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,347.54).

Die Arbeit (Born in 1976) von Waseem Ahmed wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.059,64) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Waseem Ahmed mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Man Lounging); Untitled (Woman Pointing) beobachtet, die im März 2017 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.347,54) versteigert wurde.
