This work of art by Waseem Ahmed could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Set Of Two) changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,123.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Waseem Ahmed have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2017 by the work Untitled (Man Lounging); Untitled (Woman Pointing) at USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,347.54).
