The price achieved of USD 30,240.00 (€ 30,910.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,185,000.00 (€ 213,887.07).

Die Arbeit Thatched Hut At The Foot Of The Mountains von Wang Yun kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 30.910,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.185.000,00 (€ 213.887,07).
