Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Riverside Landscape sold for HKD 882,000.00 (€ 97,688.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure Landscape, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 2,185,000.00 (€ 213,887.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Yun erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Riverside Landscape für HKD 882.000,00 (€ 97.688,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure Landscape beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 2.185.000,00 (€ 213.887,07) versteigert wurde.
