Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work The Queen by Wang Yu for HKD 115.00 (€ 11.84). This price was achieved in the auction The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink at China Guardian in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape, After Huang Gongwang in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 78,371.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Queen von Wang Yu für HKD 115,00 (€ 11,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape, After Huang Gongwang im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 78.371,08).
