A top price for Wang Yu
In March 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape, After Huang Gongwang by Wang Yu. The »bidding war« ended at USD 104,500.00 (€ 78,371.08), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Landscape, After Huang Gongwang is even the most expensive work of art by Wang Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wang Yu
Im März 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape, After Huang Gongwang von Wang Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 78.371,08) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Landscape, After Huang Gongwang sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Yu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
