Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cottages And Forest In The Mountain by Wang Yu was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape, After Huang Gongwang in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 78,371.08).

Die Arbeit Cottages And Forest In The Mountain von Wang Yu kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape, After Huang Gongwang im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 78.371,08).
