In May 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Abstract H3 by Wang Yigang. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Yigang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Abstract H4 sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,881.18).

Im Mai 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract H3 von Wang Yigang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wang Yigang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Abstract H4 im Februar 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.881,18).
