Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blossoming Season by Wang Yidong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,445.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yidong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teasing The Newlyweds in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 19,160,000.00 (€ 1,875,549.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blossoming Season von Wang Yidong kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.445,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yidong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teasing The Newlyweds im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.160.000,00 (€ 1.875.549,82).
