The work Landscape After Dong Yuan by Wang Shimin was worth HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 189,843.33) to a buyer in October 2015. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Shimin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reading in the Autumn Mountain in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 10,180,000.00 (€ 1,060,485.28).

Die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan von Wang Shimin war einem Käufer im Oktober 2015 HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 189.843,33) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Shimin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reading in the Autumn Mountain im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.180.000,00 (€ 1.060.485,28).
