Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life, with a collection of Wang Jiyuan Memorabilia by Wang Jiyuan for USD 1,020.00 (€ 953.45). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self Portrait in December 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,380,000.00 (€ 313,255.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life, with a collection of Wang Jiyuan Memorabilia von Wang Jiyuan für USD 1.020,00 (€ 953,45) erwerben.
