Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life, 1968 by Wang Jiyuan was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in September this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,792.00 (€ 1,693.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self Portrait in December 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,380,000.00 (€ 313,255.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life, 1968 von Wang Jiyuan kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.792,00 (€ 1.693,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self Portrait im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.380.000,00 (€ 313.255,26).
