The work Us$100 by Wang Jin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The auction ended at the price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,688.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).

Die Arbeit Us$100 von Wang Jin kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.688,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
