In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Still Life(Painted In 1997) by Wang Jieyin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 259,600.00 (€ 29,671.90), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Jieyin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Pavilion, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life(Painted In 1997) von Wang Jieyin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 29.671,90) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Jieyin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Pavilion beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96) versteigert wurde.
