Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Jieyin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Flower Atlas No.232 sold for HKD 562,500.00 (€ 63,338.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 260,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Jieyin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Green Pavilion sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Jieyin erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Flower Atlas No.232 für HKD 562.500,00 (€ 63.338,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 260.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wang Jieyin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Green Pavilion im Oktober 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96).
