Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Qilian by Wang Jieyin was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,145.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Wang Jieyin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Pavilion in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Qilian von Wang Jieyin wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.145,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jieyin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Pavilion im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96).
