A top price for Wang Jieyin - as previously expected
The work Green Pavilion by Wang Jieyin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Green Pavilion is the most expensive artwork by Wang Jieyin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Green Pavilion von Wang Jieyin kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Green Pavilion das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Jieyin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
