In March 2018 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Hazy Morning by Wang Jieyin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,200.00 (€ 10,982.05), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jieyin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Green Pavilion in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im März 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hazy Morning von Wang Jieyin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.200,00 (€ 10.982,05) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jieyin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Green Pavilion im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96).
