Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Qing Player by Wang Jian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,173.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Old Masters in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,450,000.00 (€ 1,349,967.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Qing Player von Wang Jian kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.173,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.450.000,00 (€ 1.349.967,41).
