Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape after Dong Yuan by Wang Jian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 21,328.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Old Masters in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,450,000.00 (€ 1,349,967.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape after Dong Yuan von Wang Jian kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 176.400,00 (€ 21.328,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.450.000,00 (€ 1.349.967,41).
