Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape After Ju Ran by Wang Jian was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,702.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Old Masters in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,450,000.00 (€ 1,349,967.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Ju Ran von Wang Jian kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.702,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.450.000,00 (€ 1.349.967,41).
