Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Landscape After Huang Gongwang by Wang Jian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 70,607.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Old Masters in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,450,000.00 (€ 1,349,967.41).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Landscape After Huang Gongwang von Wang Jian kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 70.607,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.450.000,00 (€ 1.349.967,41).
