Admittedly, works by Wang Guangle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work TERRAZZO NO. 12 in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).

Die Arbeit COFFIN PAINT 120919 von Wang Guangle wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 780.000,00 (€ 97.718,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Guangle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48).
