Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 120605 by Wang Guangle was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 261,396.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,500,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Guangle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work TERRAZZO NO. 12, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 120605 von Wang Guangle kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 261.396,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.500.000,00 – 2.500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Guangle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48) versteigert wurde.
