A top price for Wang Chuan - as previously expected
The work Beliefs by Wang Chuan was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,901.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Beliefs is the most expensive artwork by Wang Chuan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Beliefs von Wang Chuan wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.901,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Beliefs das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Chuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
