Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work 93 Diary, No. 4 by Wang Chuan. It changed hands for a price of CNY 295,000.00 (€ 35,368.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Wang Chuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Beliefs was auctioned for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,901.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 93 Diary, No. 4 von Wang Chuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 35.368,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 250.000,00 – 300.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Chuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Beliefs für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.901,21) versteigert.
